When we first started traveling, our kids were very young and these accessories were extremely helpful.
Sturdy Umbrella Stroller – This is the current model of the hardy stroller we used for years of international travel. Ours logged some serious miles and was easy to fold up when going in and out of metro stations, etc. It was extremely durable, nimble and never cumbersome. We also opted for the waterproof cover accessory and that came in handy many times.
Buggy Board – We bought a Buggy Board when both kids were under five and it gave our toddler a place to catch a ride when his legs got tired from the many miles of walking. Make sure it is compatible with your stroller and that your toddler meets the weight requirements. Our son was a champion endurance walker from a very young age, but when he needed a break, this was the perfect solution.
Hook on high chair – This was very convenient when we traveled with our one year old. It slips on to any table and folds flat to fit in your luggage.
Kids’ ride on suitcase. A nice way to keep your little ones near by and not have to worry about them keeping up or getting lost. The extendable arm has a handle for them to hold on.
